Somaya Filming With Lover Lady Luck For New Reality Show
Reality starlet Somaya Reece said she’ll be back on screens soon for a fly-on-the-wall series about her life with her girlfriend, the rapper Lady Luck.
The “Basketball Wives” alum said she’s currently filming a new reality show for a “major network” starring her and her lover.
“As you can see, there’s a camera crew here,” Reece told us after she closed the Tumbler and Tipsy runway show Sept. 13 at Kia Style 360 as part of New York Fashion Week. “It’s a reality show about me and her’s (Lady Luck) relationship, and her and her family’s relationship and the chaos, and it’s all about the music, family and personal relationships.”
Reece said her new show won’t be anything liked her former reality show Love & Hip Hop and she doesn’t mind being open about dating Lady Luck, because she said it’s the real deal.
“Today she was talking about marriage,” she said. “I was a little thrown off, but I was like ‘okay.’ She’s a great, great person. Her soul shines in the dark.”
Collection designer Michael Kuluva chose the 5’10 curvy stunner to finish out his Tumbler and Tipsy show – which was presented by CreakyJoints – because of the way she fills out his creations, Somaya said.
“He is a fan and just wanted me, particularly because I have a curvy body and what I stand for and the fact that I came from nothing and I never gave up,” she said. Also spotted in the Fashion Week crowd was “Real Housewives of New Jersey’s” Teresa Guidice, who watched her daughter, Melania, walk in the show from the front row.
Reece described her style as “1950s classic pinup,” and said she loves to keep things classic so “you are timeless anywhere you go.”
